What this is

Obee LinkedIn Posting Agent ("the app") is a personal automation tool built and operated by Obed Favour ("Obee," "I," "me"). It is not a public product or service offered to third parties. It exists solely to help me publish content to my own LinkedIn profile more consistently.

What the app does

The app uses LinkedIn's official API to post text and image content to my LinkedIn profile on my behalf. Every post is drafted by an AI system, reviewed by me personally, and only published after my explicit approval — nothing is posted automatically without human sign-off.

Data the app touches

The app accesses and processes the following data, all of which relates only to my own account and content:

  • Post text — draft captions generated for review before publishing.
  • Generated images — AI-generated images created to accompany posts.
  • LinkedIn OAuth access token — issued by LinkedIn when I authorize the app, used solely to publish approved posts to my own profile via LinkedIn's API.

What the app does not do

  • It does not access, collect, or store data belonging to any other LinkedIn user.
  • It does not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.
  • It does not use LinkedIn data for advertising or any purpose beyond publishing my own approved content.

Data storage and security

Data is processed and stored within a self-hosted automation environment that I control directly. The LinkedIn access token is stored securely within that environment's credential store and is not exposed in logs, chat interfaces, or shared with any external service.

Data retention

Draft content and access tokens are retained only as long as needed to operate the app. I can revoke LinkedIn's access at any time via LinkedIn's own account settings, which immediately invalidates the token.

Changes to this policy

Since this is a personal tool, this policy may be updated as the app's functionality changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
